Int’l Archival Culture Exhibition Opens at COEX

The National Archives has opened the 2010 International Archival Culture Exhibition at the COEX convention center in Seoul.

The opening ceremony was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with some 300 figures in attendance, including Minister of Public Administration and Security Maeng Hyung-kyu.

Archival relics from 47 countries are on display, including original printed blocks of the "Tripitaka Koreana" (Palman-daejanggyeong) Buddhist Scriptures, the original version of Grimm’s Fairy Tales and the Gutenberg Bible.

The exhibition will run through June sixth and admission is free.
