This year’s Korea World Travel Fair opened Thursday at the COEX convention center.

The four-day event will promote tourist attractions from some 50 countries.

More than 430 foreign travel agencies and related organizations will hold a variety of promotional events, such as traditional cultural performances.

As the host of the fair, the Korea Tourism Association expects the event will boost international exchanges of industry information and help South Korea attract more foreign tourists.
