"71:Into the Fire" to Hit Theaters in 14 US Cities

The film “71: Into the Fire” will hit theaters in 14 U.S. cities on July 30th. Based on a true story, the film is about student soldiers who fought in the Korean War.

The film’s distribution company, Lotte Entertainment, announced Wednesday that it would release the film in 20 to 30 AMC theaters in 14 U.S. cities next month, including Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and San Francisco.

The distribution company added that it could expand the number of screenings depending on the how the film fares at the box office.

The film, which was released on June 16th in South Korea, has drawn some two million viewers nationwide. The film stars Kwon Sang-woo, Cha Seung-won, Kim Seung-woo and T.O.P from the hip-hop boy band “Big Bang.”
