Korea Post to publish stamps depicting soccer players and Hiddink

Korea Post said Tuesday stamps to commemorate Korea's 2002 World Cup soccer squad and its head coach Guus Hiddink will be made available next month. To mark the team's achievement of reaching the semifinals of the tournament, Korea Post will issue 24 different stamps depicting the 23 players who were part of Hiddink's squad and the Dutch coach himself. It is also plans to issue stamps featuring the South Korean team's official supporters club, the Red Devils. A Korean Post source said Korea Post is in talks with the relevant players, as well as the soccer teams they play for, and the Korea Football Association over portrait rights.
