Construction of 40 Korean-funded schools in Vietnam completed

The Korean government's two-year construction project to build 40 elementary schools in central Vietnam came to an end Thursday. The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Korean builder POSCO E&C held a completion ceremony in Hanoi for 20 schools built this year with high-ranking officials from both nations on hand, including Vietnamese Vice Minister of Education Le Van Hung. The government-funded project was completed on schedule, with 20 schools built in Quang Ngai, Quang Nam and Khanh Hoa Provinces last year and another 20 schools in Binh Dinh and Phu Yen Provinces completed Thursday.
