A national theatrical group, an affiliated organization with the National Theater of Korea, has separated from the theater and has now become an independent entity.

The newly launched theater will employ actors under a contract system, with terms of up to three years, in order to maintain the quality and competitiveness of its actors.

The theater will select about 100 new actors through auditions and will training until February next year. Their contracts will be renewed every year according to their performance evaluations.

The theater plans to open a national research institute to foster young drama thespians.
