14th Puchon Int'l Fantastic Film Festival Opens

The 14th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival has opened for a ten-day run.

Some 12-hundred people were in attendance for the festival’s opening ceremony on Thursday, including Gyeonggi Governor Kim Moon-soo.

The American thriller “The Experiment,” directed by “Prison Break” creator Paul Scheuring, was screened as the opening film.

A total of 193 films from 42 countries in genres such as horror, fantasy and animation will be screened during the festival.

Film festival tickets start at four-thousand won and can be purchased on the festival’s Web site.
