The Seoul Metropolitan Government says it will hold the largest Korean shopping festival, the “Seoul Grand Sale” from July 22nd to September 12th.

The Seoul Grand Sale is an event used to promote Seoul as a shopping mecca with the advent of the Visit Korea Year in 2010.

Domestic and foreign shoppers with event coupons will enjoy discounts at well-known restaurants and tourist destinations.

A total of five thousand retailers for food, lodging, shopping, culture, beauty and health care will provide discounts of up to 60 percent.

This event is hosted by the Seoul government and supported by the Culture Ministry and the Korea Tourism Organization.
