Anti-NK Orgs Send Fliers to N.Korea

North Korean defectors living in South Korea have sent anti-North Korea fliers across the inter-Korean border to mark the 57th anniversary of the ceasefire that ended the Korean War.

Some 300 defectors and families of South Koreans who were kidnapped by North Korea attached anti-North Korea leaflets, DVDs and U.S. dollar bills to ten large balloons.

The leader of one of the groups said North Korea celebrates the day of the armistice each year as the “Korean War Victory Day” and calls for the unification of the Korean Peninsula by military force.

He added that the fliers were sent to inform North Koreans of the truth about the dictatorship in the Stalinist nation and of the necessity of freedom and unification.
