President Kim Dae-jung met with some 170 leaders of small- and medium-sized businesses over lunch Friday to urge them to make extra efforts to advance the Korean economy. During the meeting at Cheong Wa Dae, Kim said he is well aware that small businesses are struggling against the difficulties of the rising Korean won. He said the government will continue to help ease the burdens of small businesses.
