The Ministry of Public Administration and Security says a hot spring festival to be held next year will take place in the city of Bugok in Changnyeong county, South Gyeongsang Province.

Visitors to the festival will receive discounts on admission fees to hot spring facilities in the area.

Bugok was selected through a screening of candidates recommended by local governments.

The one-week festival will be held in October of next year and will feature various events including a symposium on ways to develop hot springs into tourist attractions.
