3.3% of S-N Cooperation Funds Spent

South Korea's Unification Ministry says it spent 37-point-one billion won in inter-Korean cooperation funds this year through July.

The amount is a mere three-point-three percent of the one-point-one trillion won in total inter-Korean cooperation funds earmarked for the year.

The low rate of spending is attributed to continued inter-Korean tensions following North Korea's sinking of the "Cheonan" warship.
