South Korea says it is closely watching Kim Jong-il’s ongoing visit to China.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Kim Young-sun on Thursday told a regular news briefing that the government currently has nothing to confirm regarding the details of Kim's China trip.

Kim added that it has been not officially confirmed that Kim entered China through a private train.
