The Cultural Heritage Administration has issued an advance notice of a plan to register as a national cultural asset the original copy of a collection of works by poet Kim So-wol.

The administration said that the collection, published on December 26th, 1925, contains many widely known beautiful and poignant poems such as “Azaleas,” which is a set of poems reminiscent of traditional Korean folk songs in style.

The book is the only poetry collection to be published before Kim died suddenly in 1934 at the age of 32.
