N Korea's economic reform is good starting point: WFP

David Morton, the World Food Program's (WFP) representative in Pyongyang, pointed to the economic reform pushed by Pyongyang as a good starting point in healing North Korea's economy Tuesday. Morton said in an interview with Radio Free Asia (RFA) the economic reform carried out from July 1st is not a fundamental policy addressing the problems in North Korea's economy but an excellent starting point. He underlined that North Korean people are welcoming such change as Pyongyang authorities held a nationwide discussion on the reform.
