Korean Piano Maker Wins Lincoln Center Contract

A Korean piano maker has beat out prestigious global competitors to be designated the official supplier of pianos to the Lincoln Center in New York.

Young Chang has signed a memorandum of understanding to that effect with Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater. The company's piano will be used in operas and performances by the New York City Ballet.

This is the first time a Korean piano will be supplied to the Lincoln Center.

Young Chang says the selection of a Korean piano brand by the Lincoln Center through a rigorous bidding process is a good opportunity to raise Korea’s standing in culture and arts.
