North Korea is known to be reviewing the operation of a temporary dormitory for North Korean workers at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

A source on North Korea says an official at the North’s Central Special Zone Development Guidance General Bureau mentioned the dormitory while discussing labor inside the complex with South Korean officials. Companies operating in the business park opened a childcare center September 1st.

This comment indicates that workers at the complex could be selected from regions other than Gaeseong.

But a South Korean official says the North has given no official notification on the issue.
