Red Cross talks planned between Japan and North Korea in Tokyo in 10 days' time.

Japan's foreign ministry has announced that North Korea and Japan will hold red cross talks in Pyongyang on August 18th and 19th. A public relations official in the Japanese Foreign Ministry said a Director of international department at Japan's Red Cross will attend the red cross meeting, representing Japan, along with a foreign ministry official. The two foreign ministers are expected to discuss a wide range of issues including the temporary visit to Japan by the married Japanese women living in the North and the locating the whereabouts of Japanese citizens in the North.
