The Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) has opened accounts on the social networking services "Twitter," "Facebook," and "me2day."

The "kbsnewstweet" on Twitter will deliver KBS' major and breaking news in real time, allowing Twitter users to freely express their opinions on various issues.

KBS plans to carefully listen to its news watchers as well as netizens and reflect their reports and views when producing news and reporting.

KBS opened on October first a promotional account on Twitter to enhance communication with its viewers and Internet users.
