The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) says that the quality of the nation’s broadband Internet service has been recognized as the best in the world for the second consecutive year.

According to an Oxford University study, the nation secured 157 points to rank first among 72 countries. Japan came in at second place with 118 points, followed by Hong Kong.

South Korea is also among 14 countries ready for the Internet's "applications of tomorrow."
