1,700 Inter-Korean Family Reunions Held in 3rd Country

Some 17-hundred reunions of inter-Korean separated families have taken place in countries other than South or North Korea over the past 20 years.

According to the Unification Ministry in Seoul, a total of 17-hundred-33 reunions between cross-border relatives were held in countries other than the two Koreas from 1989 to late last month, accounting for nearly 42 percent of all the reunions organized by Seoul and Pyongyang.

Over 17-hundred of the reunions were held in China.
