Seoul Lantern Festival to Open Nov. 5 at Cheonggye

The Seoul Lantern Festival will open for a ten-day run on November fifth on a one-kilometer stretch that runs from Cheonggye Plaza to Samil Bridge in downtown Seoul.

The festival will feature 15-thousand lanterns of over 200 different varieties from both home and abroad.

Various events will be held on the sidelines of the festival for visitors, including lamp-making stands.

There will also be traditional Korean mask dances and street artist performances during the festival.
