The Unification Ministry says North Korea has sent Seoul its list of delegates who will participate in inter-Korean Red Cross talks set for Tuesday and Wednesday at the North Korean border city of Gaeseong.
The North on Friday morning delivered the list to South Korean officials at the Gaeseong Industrial Park management committee.
The North's three-member delegation will be led by vice-chairman of the central committee of the North’s Red Cross Society, Choe Song-ik.
Seoul on Thursday delivered to the North its list of delegates for the talks. The three-member delegation will be headed by South Korean Red Cross Secretary General Kim Yong-hyeon.
The two Koreas on October first agreed to hold inter-Korean Red Cross talks in Gaeseong to discuss a number of issues including regularizing inter-Korean reunions of separated families.
