Guus Hiddink, former head coach and the prime mover who helped the South Korean Soccer squad to advance to the semifinals during the 2002 World Cup matches, has reconfirmed that he will visit Seoul to see the inter-Korean soccer match on September 8th. Hiddink is reported to have made the confirmation to a director of the Korean Football Association who went to the Netherlands to discuss the matter over designating Hiddink as a technical advisor to the Korean soccer squad. Hiddink has also sent an e-mail to the Korean Football Association that he will certainly visit Korea if the inter-Korean soccer event really takes place. The Korean official, however, added that it has not been discussed yet about whether Hiddink would play the role of a coach or just watching the game in the stand.
