N.Korea Premier Reportedly Visiting China

Chinese media Heilongjiang Daily and Heilongjiang TV have reported that a North Korean delegation led by the third-ranked official in the North Korean Workers’ Party, premier Choi Yong-rim, is visiting northeast China.

The Heilongjiang media said the delegation, led by Choi and vice premier Noh Du-cheol, entered China on Monday and met with Heilongjiang secretary Ji Bingxuan.

The group from North Korea also visited electrical and pharmaceutical companies as well as economic and agricultural facilities in the city of Harbin.

Choi is the highest-ranked North Korean official to visit China since North Korea’s reshuffle of its party leadership.
