Gov't Bans S.Koreans from Entering NK Wednesday

The government has decided to ban South Koreans from entering North Korea on Wednesday after the North's artillery attack on South Korea's Yeonpyeong Island in the Yellow Sea.

A Unification Ministry said Tuesday that the government is notifying South Korean firms operating in the Gaeseong Industrial Complex of the decision, citing security for South Koreans.

Currently, 764 South Koreans are staying in the complex and 14 at the North's Mount Geumgang resort.
