NK Soldiers Seen Wearing Uniforms Similar to S.Korea's

The South Korean military says it has spotted along the inter-Korean border North Korean soldiers wearing camouflage uniforms similar to those worn by South Korean soldiers.

A source in the military says that although such moves have been spotted in the past, this is the first time such a move has been detected this year.

The source added that the military has concluded the distribution of such uniforms is part of the North’s staging of drills for intrusion.

The North has stationed 50-thousand special forces troops along the inter-Korean border.

The source says that Seoul's move to provide new uniforms of a different pattern to some units earlier than expected is related to such moves by the North Korean army.
