PM: N.Korea Must Demonstrate a Changed Attitude

Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik says North Korea should change its attitude and become more sincere in regards to the dealing of inter-Korean relations.

Kim told reporters Wednesday that should North Korea continue its military provocations, it will not be easy for North Korea to resolve problems with the South.

Kim said that all issues with North Korea, which is ultimately a party with which to unite, should be addressed through dialogue. He also stressed that Seoul had no objections to resolving bilateral tensions by using the framework of the six-party talks and inter-Korean dialogue.

Kim added that during his trip to South America, to prepare for a Cabinet reshuffle, he will review possible legal issues surrounding the appointment process requirements for the prime minister’s recommendation of new ministers.
