NK Blasts S.Korea's Unification Vision

North Korea has blasted South Korea for expressing its alleged ambitions to absorb North Korea as part of national reunification.

A Web site operated by the North's Committee for Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, or "Uriminjok-kkiri,” said Thursday that South Korea’s ambitions are a bold declaration against the North Korean system.

The committee also threatened that any South Korea’s alleged attempt to absorb North Korea would lead to a military clash between the two Koreas.

The Unification Ministry in Seoul said Thursday that inducing positive changes in North Korea that facilitate future unification is a policy task for 2011.
