A survey finds that over 20 percent of the respondents have plans to travel abroad this year.

According to the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute's poll on one-thousand adults nationwide, 23 percent of those questioned said they are planning overseas trips this year.

About 52 percent said they are not planning overseas trips, while 25 percent said they have not decided yet.

About 56 percent expected inter-Korean relations will worsen, but most respondents said North Korea's artillery attack on Yeonpyeong Island will have little impact on domestic and overseas trips.

The telephone poll conducted last month has a margin of error of plus or minus three-point-one percentage points with a confidence level of 95 percent.
