KBS World Radio, the overseas service of the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), has launched its “Let’s Learn Korean with KBS” application for iPhone users.

The application, which debuted on January sixth, is now available in ten languages --- including English, Chinese, French, German and Spanish.

The “Let’s Learn Korean with KBS” application provides Korean vocabulary and lessons on speaking Korean in a variety of settings. It can be downloaded for free at the App Store.

This iPhone application is the second mobile version of the KBS Korean language education program, following a similar application for the users of Samsung Electronics smartphones, which were launched in June of last year.

KBS World Radio is hoping the application will contribute to the dissemination of the Korean language abroad.
