Seoul to start delivering Asian Games torch to Busan Saturday

Seoul will hold a ceremony at 5:50 p.m. Sunday at City Hall plaza to accept the torch for the Pusan Asian Games, to be held Sept. 29-Oct. 14. Seoul Mayor Lee Myung-bak, City Council chairman Lee Sung-ku and sports star Kim Dong-sung will light a flame-holder to preserve the flame which was ignited on Mount Halla on Jeju Island Thursday. Pop singers and Korean traditional performances will be featured after the ceremony. The Busan Asiad Torch will be delivered via torch-bearers all over the country for 23 days on its way to the Pusan Asiad Main Stadium.
