Internationally renowned conductor Daniel Barenboim and his West-Eastern Divan Orchestra will visit South Korea in August.

South Korea’s “Credia” production company said Tuesday that the orchestra will play all of Ludwig Beethoven’s nine symphonies over the course of four days.

Based in Sevilla, Spain, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra is comprised of young musicians from countries in the Middle East such as Israel and Palestine.

The orchestra was founded in 1999 by Barenboim and the late Palestinian-American academic Edward Said.
