South Korean President Kim sent condolences to US citizens affected by 9/11 terrorism

South Korean president Kim Dae-jung sent condolences to the US president George W. Bush for the victims and their bereaved family members of September 11th terrorist acts on the occasion of the 1st year of the heinous tragedy. In the message, Kim said he expresses great reverence to the leadership of president Bush who successfully led the anti-terror campaign to root out terrorist acts and to the fortitude and strong will of the US citizens who overcame the enormous tribulations with courage over the past year. Kim added that his government has actively participated in the international anti-terror campaign according to the spirit of Korea-US alliance. Meanwhile, the U.S. Embassy in Seoul held a ceremony Wednesday to mark the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Evans JR Revere and South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hang-kyung delivered a memorial address in remembrance of the victims.
