The Korea Taekwondo Association announced on Wednesday that it will send a group of South Korean Taekwondo players to visit Pyongyang from September 14th to 17th, in response to the North's request. The visit would mark a crucial first step for inter-Korean exchanges in the field of traditional martial arts, which was agreed upon during the fourth round of ministerial talks in December of 2000. The association said it will soon send a reply to its North Korean counterpart via liaison officials at the truce village of Panmunjom. Officials said details about the delegation's planned performances and itineraries in Pyongyang will be discussed when the group arrives in the North Korean capital.
