'NK Received $2 Bn from Iran for Nukes'

A Japanese daily says that North Korea received some two billion dollars from Iran in return for transporting enriched uranium to the Middle Eastern nation.

In regards to the uranium enrichment facility at Yongbyon that North Korea disclosed in November, the Sankei Shimbun says the North and Iran inked a secret deal in which the North receives money for transporting uranium to Iran.

The Japanese daily also reported that Pyongyang used the two billion dollars it received since 2008 to develop centrifugal separators and to strengthen its defense posture at the Yongbyon nuclear site.
