NK Propaganda Site Urges Seoul to Engage in Sincere Talks

North Korea is demanding that South Korea engage in sincere talks.

The move comes amid the communist nation’s intensifying criticism of the South Korean government following the abrupt ending of inter-Korean military talks earlier this week.

A North Korean propaganda site “uriminzokkiri.com” in an editorial blamed the South for the failure of the working-level talks. It also urged South Korean authorities to put aside hostility and engage in dialogue with sincerity.

The site also stressed that South Korea must make proactive, committed efforts if Seoul truly wants to improve inter-Korean relations. The site claimed that South Korea is currently making unreasonable demands.
