The second son of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il was spotted by KBS at a concert of British pop musician, Eric Clapton, in Singapore on Monday.

Kim Jong-chol was seen wearing black pants and a T-shirt on Monday, two days before his father's birthday. He entered the concert venue with some 20 people, including a woman holding a flower and men who appeared to be his bodyguards.

The men assumed to be his bodyguards tried to block KBS reporters from filming the son of the reclusive North Korean leader.

The junior Kim was seen taking pictures in front of the stage and enjoying the concert.

The last time Jong-chol made a public appearance was in Germany in 2006 during another Clapton concert.
