The Ministry of Culture announced Wednesday measures to boost the publishing industry.

As part of the measures, the ministry will encourage and support publishers to publish both paper and electronic books

It will also push to revise a related law to protect e-book copyrights and to introduce a standard pricing system for digital books.

The ministry will run an e-book production facility for small publishers while distributing standard Korean fonts for e-books.
