The Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs said the government Wednesday decided to set aside 7.17 trillion won or $5.58 billion dollars to repair damage left by typhoon Rusa. The ministry confirmed floods and landslides caused by the worst typhoon in more than 40 years caused 5.ed 5.15 trillion won in property damage. A total of 213 people were confirmed dead and 33 missing because of the disaster. The government has delivered about 60 percent of 102.8 billion won collected through a nationwide donation campaign to flood victims.
