The government will increase its financial support for small-sized producers of cultural content including dramas, films and animation.

The Culture Ministry will create a fund of 100 billion won for this year and another 100 billion won for next year for this purpose.

The fund will be used to help content producers make inroads into overseas markets.

The ministry will revise a related law by next month and select an asset management company that will run the fund this year.
