NK Media: Antigov't Protests in Mid East Result of Egoism

The Pyongyang Broadcasting Station says North Korea’s ideology remains strong amid antigovernment protests in North Africa and the Middle East.

The broadcaster on Thursday said the North’s political ideology remains firm in the face of reactionary ideology and waves of liberalization.

The report described the antigovernment protests in North Africa and the Middle East as "anti-people" and said that the protests were the result of individual egoism.

The Pyongyang Broadcasting Station is a broadcaster that targets South Korean listeners and airs propaganda programs praising the North and criticizing South Korea. The North Korean public does not have access to the broadcaster’s programs.
