UM: N.Korea Currently More Stable

Unification Minister Hyun In-taek says that North Korea is more stable than in the past.

Hyun said Wednesday that the North is relatively calm in terms of political and military activities, citing an index developed by the ministry to gauge stability in North Korea. He said that the socio-economic stability index has also reflected an improvement in the country.

The index is an analysis of stability in the political, military, social and economic sectors in the Stalinist nation.
