US Congress adopted 100th anniversary of Korean immigration to the US

The US House of Representative has unanimously adopted a resolution for the 100th anniversary of the Korean immigration to the United States during the plenary session Wednesday. The resolution by the US House was a follow-up of the US Senate decision which had already approved the resolution unanimously. With the passage of the resolution, the Korean community is geared to celebrate the 100th anniversary on January 13th next year and is expectant of president George W. Bush's special congratulatory declaration and getting the federal funds for the festival.
