The film "Poetry" by director Lee Chang-dong has won the grand prize at the 25th Fribourg International Film Festival in Switzerland.

The festival's secretariat says that among the 12 films from ten countries that entered the competitive section, Lee's "Poetry" was named the winner of the "Regard d'or" or the Grand Prix section.

Also from the festival, the film received the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) Award, which is presented to encourage the production of artistic and experimental pictures.
