On eve of Asian Games 44 nations' teams are in Busan for final training.

On the eve of the 14th Asian Games in Busan, organizers are busy making last-minute preparations. The Asian Games torch arrived in Busan Friday, after a 22-day journey through South Korea. The torch was lit with flames ignited in South and North Korea ... earning the name "Unification Flame." It will be combined with a flame from each of the other 43 participating countries in a symbolic gesture of unity at Sunday's opening ceremony. The arrival of the torch was celebrated with folk music performances and other cultural events across the southern port city ... the second largest in Korea. Delegations from Palestine, Afghanistan and East Timor arrived in Busan Friday for the 14th Asian Games. East Timor is the only country to participate in the Asian Games with a temporary membership in the Olympic Council of Asia. This Asian Games is the first international sports event East Timor has participated in since its declaration of independence in May. Palestine, whose government headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah has been under siege by Israeli armed forces since last week, has sent a 50-member delegation. The Afghan delegation consists of 33 athletes and officials.
