Japanese police are seeking Interpol's help to arrest a former North Korean spy. He is suspected of abducting a Japanese man 22 years ago. A senior police official said in Tokyo Friday that it is the first time Japan has requested foreign assistance over suspected abductions of Japanese nationals by North Korea. North Korea admitted last week that its spies abducted 13 Japanese citizens in the 1970s and 1980s to train spies in Japanese language and culture.
