The 14th Asian Games Open

One of the biggest sports events of 3.8billion Asians, the 14th Busan Asian Games kicked off at the Busan Asiad Main stadium on September 29th. Starting with the splendid opening ceremony, the sports festival runs for sixteen days, until October 14th.

The opening ceremony was participated in by many figures of various areas, including South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, Al-saba President of the Olympic Council of Asia(OCA), Jeong Sun-taek, head of the Organizing Committee, Lee Yeon-taek head of the Korea Olympic Committee, and many other heads of the National Olympic Committee.,

On this event, many people are focusing on the participation of North Korea, first time participating since the division of Korea, Afghanistan, and East Timor. 44 countries participating, 38 games, and 419 gold medals will make it the biggest Asian games than ever.
