The Education, Science and Technology Ministry and KBS have signed an agreement to promote a KBS application that educates the user about the Dokdo islets.

Under the agreement signed on Thursday, the application, which was developed and provided by KBS for smart phones and tablet PCs, will now be utilized as a teaching aid at elementary, middle and high schools nationwide.

The two sides also agreed to promote the use of the application for teachers’ training courses and to jointly develop additional functions that will boost the education of the islets.
