Japan's ASDF chief of staff to visit Korea Thursday

An official said Wednesday Japan's air self-defense forces (ASDF) Chief of Staff Ikuo Todake is to visit Korea Thursday at the invitation of his South Korean counterpart Kim Tae-wook. The official added Totake and Kim will discuss ways of promoting military exchanges between the air forces of the two countries at the air force headquarters in Gyeryongdae, South Chungcheong Province Friday. During his three-day stay, Totake will also pay a courtesy call on Defense Minister Lee Jun and the air force's combat flying unit.
